I am Sue and the proud founder of TopMarxPT Studio which has been operating since 2010.

I personally support clients in their ‘healthy mind, healthy body’ fitness and well-being journey.

I am a passionate and qualified  Personal Trainer, Pilates, ChiBall, ChiBall-Yoga and Reiki Master Practitioner, plus a Holistic Wellness Coach, Food & Nutrition Coach.

My mission is to support clients like you on your exciting ‘healthy mind, healthy body’ journey.  Set your goals, then I support and guide you towards achieving these.  Clients begin to feel self-empowered along the way and notice they have become a better version of themselves. My approach is unique for everyone. If you wish, it may be a combination of any or all of:  group classes; Personal Training; Wellness Coaching; Food & Nutrition Coaching; and perhaps occasional Reiki sessions if you wish, to support you along your unique holistic journey to reach your desired goals.  This journey will have you gradually implement new and healthier lifestyle choices that become your new habits, and then you will ‘feel better for life’.

If you are new to exercise or already experiences and are looking for a variety of exercise classes or personal training, then my TopMarxPT Studio is for you too.

My doors are open to you if you are ready to help yourself – all you need to do is take the first step, contact me, then simply come along for a consult and if I am right for you, we can begin your journey!

TopMarx: Sue’s story

Reassessing options for a return to the paid workforce led Sue Marx to a light bulb moment. She decided against a return to the corporate world in favour of working for herself in her area of passion – health and wellbeing. Based in Sydney, she now runs a flourishing business from her home-based, purpose-built exercise studio.

“I became passionate about wanting to support others with their overall wellness journey after personally experiencing optimal physical and mental wellness thanks to incorporating a more balanced approach to include many forms of exercise,” she says.

Operating since 2010, Sue has gained an impressive list of qualifications to run small group exercise and movement classes, ranging from high intensity sessions to mind/body and meditation classes. The business has also now expanded into offering Reiki sessions and coaching in holistic wellness, including food and nutrition.

“As a small business owner, I love that I can work from home and be available for my children, as well as being able to expand the business as they grew older and more independent,” she says. “I am completely autonomous and in control of all the business decision-making processes, such as setting the core Studio hours, choosing the areas to specialise in, and choosing the services I provide.”

“I often think that in many industries, small businesses share a similar cost for expenses as a larger business but without having the specialist resources to assist,” she says.

Her locally-based, specialised and personal approach quickly established a good foundation of clients, reinforced now by word of mouth, an internet presence, and occasional community-based advertising. Networking is also important, with Sue maintaining contact with other people in the industry.

Most importantly, though, Sue feels passion is critical to the success of her small business.

“Being passionate about what I do means I look forward to what each day brings. I think my passion is then contagious and inspiring for my clients. If people desire a change to get to where they want to be, as a Coach I can support them with this journey. I feel if more people improve their health and find their passion in life, it leads to more intrinsic happiness which can also create a more compassionate and better world”.

Sue has shown that following her belief in a personalised exercise experience and a passion for what she does has resulted in a sustainable, home-based, flexible small business.

WHAT WE OFFER

ONE-ON-ONE TRAINING

‘Your goal is my goal’ and as your Personal Trainer, my focus is to make these sessions ALL ABOUT YOU – I’m with you every step of the way, encouraging and motiving you. Utilising cardio and strength equipment in my Studio, you will watch yourself transform!

CIRCUIT TRAINING

Training in a small group (approx 6), you commit to your chosen class, I motivate and guide you as you move through various cardio and strength exercises.  There’s also a variety of accessories to make your workout challenging and fun, it’s a different workout every time.  Have a laugh with your classmates along the way.

REIKI

Reiki is a relaxing energy healing technique, a session promotes harmony, balance, clarity and well-being.  Reiki energy does not interact with any medications so is safe. You can experience a Studio Reiki session whilst relaxing on a massage table, or Reiki can be sent to you ‘remotely’, which is also ideal if you are home or in hospital unwell or injured, or just wishing to experience Reiki’s harmony without coming into the Studio.

CHIBALL®

Tai-Chi Qi Gong, Dance, Yoga, Pilates, Stretch and Meditation!  Become strong and flexible yet leave feeling calm, peaceful and relaxed. Ideal for teens to seniors.

PILATES

A mat work class to strengthen your core plus entire body conditioning, it corrects muscle imbalances, improves posture and may eliminate aches and pains.

Holistic Wellness & Nutrition Coaching
