My Mission:

I’m Sue and I will personally support your fitness, health and wellbeing journey, empowering you to enjoy movement and exercise, to shift to a positive mindset and to implement lifestyle choices to “feel better for life.”

(OPTION of face to face in my Private Studio OR online sessions)

Your TopMarx Personal Training Studio is located at 10 Roma Rd, St Ives, and offers:

  • Your private and clean home studio/gym, climate controlled, light filled and airy with views overlooking Garrigal National Park;
  • Non-intimidating cardio and strength equipment, plus various accessories to keep sessions challenging and fun while you improve your strength, fitness, balance and agility. I demonstrate then guide you through every exercise, so you reach your goals safely;
  • One-on-one Personal Training (or family and friend two-on-one training); or
  • Small group personal training classes – approx 6 and option to form your own small group with family and friends);
  • ChiBall® Seasonal and Yin/Yang exercise Classes or Private session;
  • Pilates/Core/Stretch Classes or Private sessions;
  • Holistic Wellness Coach (private sessions);
  • Food and Nutrition Coach (private sessions);
  • Reiki Master Practitioner (private Studio and remote healing sessions);
  • As your fitness improves, I will support and encourage (no shouting involved) to gradually work harder to overcome hurdles and reach your potential, your session time can be challenging and fun;
  • Another benefit of choosing TopMarxPT means you now have easy access to any of my above services which can be incorporated into any of your Personal Training / Private sessions. No need to be overwhelmed as the choice can be yours or I can guide you with your fitness, health and well-being so that –

MY PROGRAMS

Private one-on-one training (or family and friend sessions), Wellness & Nutrition Coaching, or ‘you time’ to receive Reiki energy and feel the state of peace and harmony which may lead to healing.

I also run small group classes in  Circuit; Pilates; ChiBall; ChiBall-Yoga.  These movement disciplines can of course be incorporated into Personal Training sessions too.

Group classes are in my boutique private studio OR attend online as classes (except circuit) are livestream as well (MON & TUES only livestream/zoom).

Many clients like to form their own private small groups for a customised class, OR click on a class type below to learn more.

The first step can be daunting but I’m hear to talk you through any concerns or questions relating to any of the services I offer (please leave a message if I don’t answer, as when I’m with clients my phone is off).

I also work with teens and adults with special needs, or other conditions such as  recovering from injuries or wishing to improve from health conditions.

THIS TERM'S WEEKLY SCHEDULE

Clients often wish to form their own small group with family or friends and customise a private class (approx 6, either Studio or zoom) OR choose from my below timetable to join my scheduled class/es (MON & TUES zoom only).

If choosing my scheduled classes, the booking period is in line with NSW Public School Terms (we break for holidays) – cost is based on number of weeks in each Term.

Please enquire if you have any questions or if you are interested in one-on-one PT or my other services. I’m also passionate about supporting teens to adults with special needs or people recovering from injuries or moving through health challenges.

Recently my husband was admitted to hospital with a florid septis in his blood which attacked his heart and eventually shut down his kidneys.  He was a very sick man and I was told he may not pull through.  He was admitted on 09 Dec and on 22 Dec Sue Marx offered to do some long distance Reiki.  Up until this point we had not had any good days in relation to my husband. Sue performed the Reiki that evening and this is the text I received from my husband the next morning -

"My night I am happy to say was very good.  I slept deeply for 3.5 hours, got up for 2 hours and went back to bed and slept deeply until 6.45am.  My catheter has now been removed and my Blood Sugars are in the normal range.  All the blood cultures are negative."

What more can I say?!  Sue has been intermittently performing LD Reiki on both my husband and myself and the results have been nothing but positive.  For those that may be sceptical I (we) urge you to open your mind and heart and try it.  I can't recommend Sue highly enough, thank you Sue.

I always feel energised after a PunchFit class. A group class but it feels like your own personal training session. Sue checks individual techniques and suggests improvements. (Unlike another fitness club I trialled, I was not even asked if I had boxed before).

I regularly attend Sue's circuit classes and occasionally I top it up with a ChiBall class. Last week whilst at home, I pulled a muscle in my back. This pain combined with the difficulty I was having with associated breathing difficulty was giving me every excuse to stay at home and miss the ChiBall class that night. I only went along becasue my teen daughter was insisting we go, but I'm so glad I went along with her - by the end of the class not only was I feeling wonderfully relaxed, but my pain had gone completely! I was really surprised as I wasn't expecting the ChiBall class to have that effect as I was just hoping to loosen up. So to be pain free afterwards, go home to have a deep sleep that night, plus also feel fabulous the following day was a great bonus. Thanks Sue!

Although I had run a number of marathons as well as swimming and cycling regularly, I had never been trained professionally. Since starting with TopMarx, the targeting training is definitely improving my all round fitness levels. In addition, Sue is very aware of a number of chronic injuries that I am carrying and therefore tailors the session to maximise my output, whilst avoiding aggravating problem areas. I would highly recommend TopMarx personal training to anyone who wishes to achieve a goal (or just to stay fit and healthy).

I have had chronic lower back pain for a number of years now and I was amazed, after attending my first ChiBall class with Sue recently, that for the first time in a long time the pain in my lower back seems to have disappeared – despite lifting my young 2 year-old granddaughter. Sue is a very inspiring, thoughtful and caring Personal Trainer who is always looking for the best way for the people in her class to fulfil their fitness goals. I also attend the Circuit Training classes and find them excellent. Thanks Sue for your ongoing support and encouragement!!
